For My Civil War Students,

two Civil War memory nuggets to carry you through the holiday break. The first is a t-shirt commemorating H.K. Edgerton, the African American neo-Confederate whom we saw in “The Unfinished Civil War” documentary.     A better song about the South is “Good Old Boys Like Me” by Don Williams. It is not “what-if” song. It is a “New South” song.
